  These people are real and sincere. They are authentic and really welcoming. I have gone to the service called "Access" which is one of the options at First United Methodist in Richardson. The "Access" service is a smaller group of people, and they are so accepting and warm. "Access" services occur at 11am, in a worship sanctuary that is at the "big church" (that is, First United Methodist Church in Richardson), but it is in its OWN area. They are part of the "big church," but they provide a smaller and more casual congregation at "Access."

  Today 2/24/13 is my very first visit to this beautiful church. I arrived a few minutes late for 9:45 am service. Someone gave me a nice pamphlet at the door. Attendance was packed near max capacity. So I sat at the last row. I enjoyed beautiful gospel songs by the choir team. I like the children dramas on stage. A baby was baptized. A small group of new ministers were commissioned and introduced to the audience. Today's message was, "I am the gate." it's a powerful message I can resonate with. The pastor was excellent. A sweet elderly lady from the next front tapped my arm and said good morning with a big smile :) At the end of service, another elderly lady stood and said good bye at the exit door. Then 3 hours later, another lady came to my door with her grand daughter to give me a welcome packet. Wow! This is indeed a very sweet loving house of our Lord.
